O Lord, bless all mothers. Strengthen women to give unconditional love and care to their children and those needing love and attention. We pray for the mothers who continuously struggle to provide for their children and family, and may they find consolation knowing they are not alone.

Most of us know that Sunday, May 8, is Mother's Day. But, did you know, for centuries, the Catholic Church has set aside the entire month of May to honor Mary, Mother of God.  That's why, throughout the month of May, the many Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan programs that support moms and families will partner with generous parishes, partners, and groups to collect baby supplies, items, and goods for moms and families in need of extra help.
