Christmas Giving Tree provides year-round help
Join with several parishes, businesses, clubs, and individuals who are helping CCSEM to provide a Merry Christmas to the children and families we serve throughout the year! CCSEM programs serve multiple individuals and families in need year round. Five CCSEM programs and services are targeted for your gifts this Christmas:
Refugee Resettlement:
CCSEM has resettled thousands of people from Iraq, mainly Chaldeans, who were persecuted and forced from their native land. In resettling here in the Archdiocese of Detroit, they can live in freedom and practice their faith without fear.
Hispanic Outreach: Provides education and support to help Hispanic families become self-sufficient and successful in their integration into a new culture, with an emphasis on building individual and family strengths.
Project Hope: Partners with women on the journey to carry their pregnancy to term, embracing mothers-to-be with the love of Christ through companionship, support, and encouragement through their pregnancies and beyond. We provide pregnancy testing, counseling, fetal development and childbirth education, housing, nutrition, employment training, financial guidance, and referrals for prenatal care and other services.
Crisis Navigation: Helps those with emergency needs anywhere in southeast Michigan, offering immediate assistance for housing, food, and utilities. CCSEM strives to help people transition from securing basic needs to sustainability and independence.
Adult Day Health Services: Provides daytime centers where adults with dementia, cognitive disabilities, and other conditions requiring supervision can enjoy social activities and stimulating projects while receiving professional, personalized care in a comfortable, friendly setting.
Please consider including one or more of these programs in your Christmas giving! We can arrange pick-ups of the gifts you provide.
