Click here to nominate an individual, parish, or organization for one or more awards now through Friday, June 21. Please note that nominees must be Catholic and serve within the geographic region of the Archdiocese of Detroit. 
 Winners will be selected and notified by Catholic Charities in August and honored and recognized at the Annual Celebration on September 12 at Laurel Manor Banquet & Conference Center in Livonia

Leonard R. Jagels Award (Outstanding Individual Award)

The Leonard R. Jagels Award honors the memory of former Catholic Services Director Leonard Jagels. It will be presented to one outstanding Catholic committed to charity in Southeast Michigan and the Archdiocese of Detroit. Through the individual’s work, the individual puts the teachings of the Catholic Church into practice.

The Outstanding Parish Award honors a parish in the Archdiocese of Detroit that is committed to charity in its community. Whether through a project, a hosted program, a collection, or a dedication to social service, this parish shares Christ’s love to help better the lives of those around it.

Outstanding Organization Award

The Works of Mercy Award honors a Catholic group, school, or organization for its efforts in a successful charitable project. By dedicating themselves to helping those in need, these groups have lived the teachings of Jesus Christ and bettered their community and its members.
