Tiffany Scurto obtained her Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan-Flint (2005) and her Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University (2007). She received her C.A.A.D.C. credential from the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (2009) and her S.A.P. (Substance Abuse Professional) credential from the SAPAA Training Institute (2010). Scurto has been a substance abuse clinician with Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan since January of 2013. Previously, was employed by Catholic Social Services of St. Clair County from July 2011 until the 2013 merger with CCSEM. Her areas of expertise include: substance abuse addiction, co-occurring disorders, driver’s license restoration assessments, substance abuse assessments, DOT assessments, and providing counseling services to those with addiction and/or co-occurring disorders. Her work history includes: inpatient mental health and substance abuse work (2007-08); and mental health and substance abuse clinician (2007-12). Treatment philosophy: “To provide individuals, families and groups suffering from co-occurring or substance abuse disorders with the guidance, support and tools necessary to make effective changes in their lives.”
