Camella Gild

Camella Gild obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology (1986) and her Master of Social Work degree (1997) from Wayne State University. She received her A.C.S.W. credential from the National Association of Social Workers (1999) and her Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist credential from the National Association of Forensic Counselors (2012). Gild is currently a clinical therapist working with adults and teens for Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan. She has more than 13 years of experience in the areas of anger management, domestic violence, criminal behavior, sex/porn addiction, depression, and anxiety. Gild worked previously for the Macomb State Correctional Facility, St. Lawrence Psychiatric Hospital (Ogdensburg, New York), St. Lawrence Civil Commitment Center (Ogdensburg, New York) and Sanilac County Community Mental Health. Treatment philosophy: “A reality-based approach to issues. Clients direct their treatment since they are the experts on themselves. An eclectic approach is used to ensure the needs of the client are being met.”
