Aidana “Danni” Spresser obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa (1973) and her Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University (1990). She received her A.C.S.W. credential from the National Association of Social Workers (1992). Spresser has been a clinical therapist working with adults and older adults with Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan January of 2013, and with Catholic Social Services of St. Clair County from February 1990 until the 2013 merger with CCSEM. Her areas of expertise include: grief and loss, maternal support, physical disability adjustment, depression, older adult issues, and women’s issues. Her work history includes: the Peoples’ Clinic and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, and experience as a medical social worker, maternal and infant support clinician, older adult clinician, and adult clinician. Treatment philosophy: “Client-centered therapy based on autonomy, respect and open communication. A variety of treatment methods are used based on the needs of the client.”
