Position Type: Full Time Hourly
Rate of Pay: 15.00 - 16.00 per hour
Availability: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some flexibility for evening hours as needed
Days/Hours Worked: Approximately 30 hours per week - The core CCSEM business days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required;
Experience Requirements: Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) or Certified Peer Recovery Mentor Minimum of 2 years of recovery time and knowledge of recovery services
Special Requirements: Must have CCAR Recovery Coach certificate or receive training within 90 days of hire date. Prefer canidates with a Michigan Certified Peer Recovery Coach certification.
Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan is seeking a Peer Recovery Coach for its Outpatient SUD treatment program. The position will provide recovery support services to a mostly male caseload.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Meet with people individually or in a group to assist in their recovery process by offering support, resources and guidance
Complete recovery plans and progress notes
Provides follow-up calls, and check-in calls for individuals in recovery as a form of additional support
Assist with transportation as needed
Must have CCAR Recovery Coach certificate or receive training within 90 days of hire date. Prefer canidates with a Michigan Certified Peer Recovery Coach certification.
