In addition to giving participants the opportunity to stay active and healthy, the program offers volunteers a non-taxable stipend, mileage reimbursement, meal assistance, and supplemental accident and liability insurance coverage.
The Oakland County program currently has 45 volunteers, and more are needed!
Participants must be age 55 or older, able to serve 20 hours a week, follow program guidelines and meet limited income guidelines.
