Register for the Recovery Picnic on September 10 from 11 am – 2 pm at St. Mary’s Park in Monroe.

Recovery Advocacy Warriors (RAW) is a Recovery Community Organization (RCO) that is made up of community members who are dedicated to providing education, advocacy, prevention, and awareness for individuals affected by substance use disorder (SUD) and addiction recovery. Our mission is to reduce stigma surrounding addiction and make recovery even more possible for those seeking help.

RAW offers:
  • Free Naloxone training to individuals and community agencies
  • Free Community C-CAR training events
  • Free Community events that promote awareness and reduce stigma surrounding addiction. Resources to those addressing substance use disorder
RAW: Who we are and what we do

RAW is supported by Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan to serve the recovery community of Monroe County.

RAW is a Recovery Community Organization that focuses on breaking the stigma of substance use disorder. RAW provides public education and awareness to the Monroe County community by hosting events and trainings such as:

  • Annual Walk & Rally
  • Annual Recovery Picnic
  • Recovery Coach Academy training Naloxone training & distribution RAW supports multiple pathways to recovery

We also focus on connecting individuals to recovery-related activities and services such as: Joseph Center of Hope (A 23-hour crisis intervention center that provides shelter and stabilization until the client can reach the next level of care.)

Referrals to Medicated Assisted Treatment programs, outpatient services, inpatient services Connecting individuals with Recovery Coaches and Peer Support services Mutual aid support groups (Evidence based groups, 12-step programs, faith-based groups, and any other group that supports recovery.)
