From blood drives and teaching about advanced directives to blood pressure screenings and cancer support groups, parish health care ministries inform the faithful on issues in health consistent with Catholic values. Often organized and led by parish nurses, these ministries also make referrals to community agencies and provide pastoral visitation to homebound and hospitalized parishioners.
I heartily recommend the (Adult Day Health) services to anyone seeking options in the care of a loved one.

The (Adult Day Health Services) program provides my mother with the opportunity to socialize and participate in activities which add enrichment to her life.

When I first visited, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the building and the calming atmosphere present. That has not changed in three years. I am confident that my mother is in good hands when I need someone to take over Mom's care for a few hours.
- Client Family Member of Adult Day Services
My mother was a client of the Adult Day Health Services program for three years. During that time, the staff treated my mother with the utmost respect, compassion and care.

Sue Harrington, Peer Recovery Support Specialist @CCSEM, was thrilled to share her 52 Sundays experience - "52 Sundays makes me happy and hopeful for our family in 2021! My husband and I initiated our first-ever family Zoom call this past weekend for what we told our four adult children was a 'Family Activity Night.' To our surprise, they all accepted! While somewhat hesitant at the inclusion of the Gospel reading and meditation (John 1:35-42), they accepted it. They were all open to setting up regular online family time together, which will include 52 Sundays. As parents who have been discouraged by our adult kids' slow and steady movement away from practicing their faith, this unexpected blessing brought joy to my heart! My daughter, Lauren, and I also enjoyed preparing the delicious Chicken Cacciatore recipe offered as an activity. If all of the recipes in 52 Sundays are this good, our family will be fed well this year – spiritually and otherwise! " #52Sundays #CCSEM
