Ministry for The Sick

To ensure the homebound and ill receive the sacraments and spiritual support including prayers, check with the parish in your area to learn about locally-offered resources. Chaplains are available at hospitals, health care facilities, and hospice centers to administer sacraments including confession, the Eucharist, and anointing of the sick.

Training is available for volunteers interested in administering the Eucharist to the sick and homebound. Courses are held throughout southeast Michigan.
