Eric is the Clinical Services Manager at the Lapeer location. Eric received his Bachelor of Social Work from Wayne State University in 2014 and his Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University in 2015 as part of the accelerated MSW program. Before his involvement with Catholic Charities, Eric worked as an outpatient treatment provider and behavioral therapist with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. Eric has been with Catholic Charities since January of 2019 and received his Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor Credential from Michigan Certification Board for Addictions Professionals in 2021. Eric utilizes multiple approaches to assist those in their journey towards recovery, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, solution-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy.   Eric is confident in his ability to treat mental health, substance use disorders, co-occurring diagnoses, and grief and loss issues.

Since 2019 Eric is a Battering Intervention Services Coalition of Michigan (BISC–MI) certified therapist. He provides treatment and intervention to people involved in domestic violence.

Jerri Lynn Stotz earned her Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, in 2007 and her Master of Social Work degree in 2013 from Eastern Michigan University. She is a licensed Clinical Therapist and a Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor (CCDCI). Now a case manager with CCSEM in Monroe, her areas of expertise include substance abuse counseling, parenting education, cognitive restructuring, life skills education, prevention, case management, and individual and group therapy. Stotz also is SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access and Recovery or SOAR certified. She has experience as a substance abuse counselor, Families First worker, juvenile detention specialist, and clinical therapist. “All people do not have the same opportunities in life, and some lack the support and skills needed to succeed. I want to help support individuals and groups, and share knowledge, so that more people can lead informed, successful lives. We learn from each other. Kristy Rivard

Kristy Rivard earned her bachelor’s degree in 1996 in special education from Eastern Michigan University. She worked as a special education teacher at Bedford Public Schools for seven years, and then continued her education at Eastern Michigan University, earning her master’s degree in counseling in 2003.  She worked as an interventionist at Monroe Catholic Elementary Schools for four years. Kristy is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer.  She enjoys working with children and adolescents, and looks forward to working with adults. Kristy is skilled at helping clients come to a resolution or solution about particular situations, and encourages her clients to share with her their personal problems, concerns, and stories. Kristy’s general goals for her clients are to help them identify issues, develop a plan of action, and implement that plan. She believes counselor and client work together to find the best solution.

Lynne Fogle

I have been working with children and adolescents for the past 25 years as a school social worker. My extensive knowledge of child development, mental health issues, behavior problems, parenting struggles, trauma, grief and loss, and special education services allows me to successfully address most child and adolescent issues. My experience as a hospice social worker and runaway worker have provided me the tools to assist individuals and families experiencing multiple personal challenges. As all of my experience has been in Monroe County I also bring extensive knowledge of community services and their requirements/consumer entrance procedures. My approach to therapy is that each person brings many strengths and talents to the therapeutic relationship and my role is to assist individuals and families to utilize existing coping tools as well as develop new positive techniques to manage life challenges

Tonya’s work history includes 11 years of working with families in the Monroe County Head Start Program as a family advocate and mental health consultant, and three years with Monroe County Mental Health Authority working with emotionally impaired children. Izabela Lueck earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Oakland University in 2014 as well as a master’s degree in counseling from Oakland University in 2017. She is a nationally board certified counselor and a member of American Counseling Association.

Rebecca Webler earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Wayne State University in 2015 and continued at Wayne State to obtain her Masters of Social Work degree in 2016, earning honors and awards for academic achievement. Camella Gild obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology (1986) and her Master of Social Work degree (1997) from Wayne State University. Gild worked previously for the Macomb State Correctional Facility, St. Lawrence Psychiatric Hospital (Ogdensburg, New York), St. Lawrence Civil Commitment Center (Ogdensburg, New York) and Sanilac County Community Mental Health. Elien Gaw

Elien Gaw earned her Certificate of Human Resources from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2007. Providing social work intake services for the People’s Clinic for Better Health – a CCSEM collaboration with a local hospital, Elien has been with CCSEM and its predecessor agency in St. Clair County since 2008. Elien provides services in Port Huron at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, the location for the People’s Clinic. She is a board member of Blue Water Safe Horizons, which provides support services for the homeless as well as survivors of domestic violence. She provides support to domestic abuse victims and serves as an advocate for sexual assault at local hospitals for the St. Clair County Sheriffs Department. Elien’s clients often need either Pathway Shelter or Carolyn’s Place for temporary housing. Her work history includes working with at-risk youth at the Harvey Center through the Center for Human Resources. Her treatment philosophy is: “To find each and every resource that will benefit my patients in their lives and if possible, those family members they care about. Not only health resources, but food, shelter and the warm fuzzies in life that may make them smile.”

Evelyn Reilly earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Wayne State University in 2013 and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University in 2017. She is now a State of Michigan-credentialed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has earned National Certified Counselor (NCC) status through the National Board of Certified Counselors. Evelyn currently works as a clinical therapist with CCSEM seeing clients in Port Huron. Evelyn’s goal as a therapist is to assist clients in discovering and utilizing their strengths to implement positive change in their lives. She employs a client-centered, strengths-based approach, incorporating skills from cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, existentialism, and psychodynamic theory in order to meet each individual’s counseling needs. Kimberly Burdick

Kimberly Burdick earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Western Michigan University in 1987 and her Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University in 1994. She also received an ACSW credential from the National Association of Social Workers in 2007. Kimberly is currently Assistant Division Director of the Northern Region of the Behavioral Health Department for the offices in St. Clair and Lapeer Counties. Her areas of expertise include: providing therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults dealing with anxiety and depression, family therapy, and working with older adults. She is currently working on her certification in addiction counseling. Her experience includes 15 years as a case manager and clinician for Community Mental Health of St. Clair County and 12 years as a therapist in private practice. Kimberly started her career with CCSEM (then Catholic Social Services) as a student intern in the 1990’s and returned as an employee in 2015. She said returning to the place where she started as a student “has been like coming home. Robert Dundas obtained his bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Central Michigan University (1971) and his Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Michigan-Flint (1983). He received his C.A.A.D.C. credential from the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (1990). Dundas has been a substance abuse therapist with Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan since January of 2013, and worked for Catholic Social Services of St. Clair County (CSSSC) 1991 until the 2013 merger with CCSEM. His areas of expertise include: assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, case management, group and individual treatment/counseling for clients with substance abuse/dependence problems and histories of criminal conduct and related legal problems. His work history includes: experience as an inpatient substance abuse counselor at SHRC in Memphis, Michigan (1987-1991); an out-patient substance abuse therapist at RDH in East China, Michigan (1987-88); and an out-patient substance abuse therapist with Downriver Community Services in Algonac, Michigan (1991-2006). (Substance Abuse Professional) credential from the SAPAA Training Institute (2010). Scurto has been a substance abuse clinician with Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan since January of 2013. Previously, was employed by Catholic Social Services of St. Clair County from July 2011 until the 2013 merger with CCSEM. Her areas of expertise include: substance abuse addiction, co-occurring disorders, driver’s license restoration assessments, substance abuse assessments, DOT assessments, and providing counseling services to those with addiction and/or co-occurring disorders. Her work history includes: inpatient mental health and substance abuse work (2007-08); and mental health and substance abuse clinician (2007-12).
