Wendala K. Klinski

Wendala K. Klinski earned her Bachelor of Social Psychology degree from Park University in 2002 and her Master of Mental Health Counseling degree from the University of Phoenix in 2007. She also received a Play Therapy credential from the Association for Play Therapy in 2013. Klinski is currently Assistant Director and Operations Manager for Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan’s Monroe office. Her areas of expertise include: working with children involved in child protective services and foster care; family therapy; and individual therapy for clients of all ages. Her experience includes two years as a domestic violence shelter advocate; four years at a residential treatment center serving youth ages 13 to 18; and four years outpatient therapy with CCSEM in Monroe. Klinski received an award for her work as a volunteer victim advocate from Marine Corps Community Services in 2001. Her treatment philosophy is, “Meeting the client where he or she is and implementing a treatment plan that helps the client attain the goals that he or she has set. I use a cognitive-behavioral treatment approach with clients.”
