Cassandra L. Richardson

Cassandra L. Richardson has a Master of Science degree from Capella University and has been with Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan since 2009. She worked with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for 23 years prior to returning to school for her master’s degree. She is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Michigan and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). Richardson has an eclectic approach to therapy, including client-centered approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic theory and brief solution-focused treatment. She enjoys assisting individuals in overcoming a variety of conditions including: anxiety disorders (OCD, social phobias, panic attacks and agoraphobia), drug and alcohol addictions, issues with self-esteem, self-image, anger management, depression, grief and loss, marital and relationship conflict, and eating disorders. Richardson also provides substance abuse assessments and driver’s license evaluations as needed. Her philosophy: Healing Words Heal Hearts.
