Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field. This position requires the applicant to be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience Requirements: The best candidate will be a person who is able to foster a genuine relationship with the students and is trained or is willing to learn Second Language Techniques and approaches. The candidate must be organized, reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable. A successful candidate should be able to keep the students engaged by using props and visuals effectively and should share our mission to serve the people in need. They also need to have experience working with Hispanic population.

Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan (CCSEM) has been serving the communities in St. Clair, Lapeer, Monroe, Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties since the late 1940s. Qualification/Experience/Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field. This position requires the applicant to be bilingual in English and Spanish. We are seeking an individual to work as an ESL Health and Safety Instructor in our La Casa Amiga Community Program in Pontiac. The ESL Health and Safety Instructor will be involved in planning, organizing and providing instruction in English that meets the curriculum standard of ESL Safety. The best candidate will be a person who is able to foster a genuine relationship with the students and is trained or is willing to learn Second Language Techniques and approaches. Work Environment, Physical Demands & Travel:
This job operates in a professional office environment and includes some travel.
