Leonard R. Jagels Leadership Award
In honor of the memory of former Catholic Services Director Leonard R. Jagels, this award recognizes one outstanding Catholic community leader for their commitment to both the teachings of the Catholic Church and to charity.

The 2021 Outstanding Organization award will recognize a group, organization, school, etc. for their outstanding charitable work (examples include a school supply drive, a project serving one of the Corporal Works of Mercy, a donation drive at a school, a food drive, etc.). The recipient of this award will be recognized for their commitment to the teachings of Jesus and working to better their community.

This award honors a Catholic parish located in one of the six counties served by the Archdiocese of Detroit that has demonstrated a commitment to charity in their community. The recipient of this award has shown that they are committed to bettering their community. Whether it has been through a project, a hosted program, a special collection, or through community outreach, this parish has stepped up to make sure they embodied the Corporal Works of Mercy.
